Return, Refund, and Exchange Policy

Thank you for shopping at Baker Island Foods. We take great pride in the quality of our granolas and cookies. Because our products are perishable food items, we have established the following guidelines for returns, refunds, and exchanges to ensure safety and fairness for all customers.

1. Returns & Perishable Goods

  • All sales are final: Due to health, safety, and food regulations, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on any perishable food items (including all granolas and cookies) once they have been shipped.
  • We cannot accept returns based on personal taste preferences.

2. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

Your satisfaction is our priority. If there is an issue with your order upon delivery, we are here to help:

  • Incorrect Items: If you received the wrong item in your package (e.g., a different flavor or product than what you ordered), please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order. We will gladly arrange to send you the correct item at no additional shipping cost to you.

    Damaged or Defective Items: If your product arrives defective or compromised, please email us immediately at anna@bakerislandfoods.com with your order number, a brief description of the issue, and clear photographs of the product and packaging.

 

Note on Carrier Damage: While we do not take responsibility for transit damages handled by the carrier , please reach out to us with photos so we can assist you with information to file your claim with the shipping provider.

3. Refunds (If Applicable)

If a refund or partial refund is approved due to an order error on our part:

  • The refund will be processed automatically, and a credit will be applied to your original method of payment.

  • Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to appear on your bank statement, depending on your financial institution's processing times.

  • Shipping charges from the original purchase are non-refundable.

4. Order Cancellations or Modifications

Because we run on a weekly shipping schedule, you may cancel or modify your order as long as it has not been processed for shipment.

  • To request a cancellation, please contact us at anna@bakerislandfoods.com before Friday at 5:00 PM EST.

  • Once an order has been handed over to the carrier on Monday, it cannot be canceled, modified, or refunded.
